Strut Tower Brace Kit

This M7 Strut Tower J Brace for the R56 is made from high strength 6061-T6 aluminum alloy billet material and precision CNC machined. Finish is a beautiful matte black anodize and a M7 logo proudly engraved in the middle of the cross bar.
The J-Brace has been slightly modified for the 2011-2013 model year MINI Cooper S to allow for better clearance to stock parts. Because of limited hood clearance, this brace DOES NOT fit the base model Cooper (non 'S' model).
Installation Notes:Installation is a snap (often taking less than 20 minutes)! No need for new nuts, the brace uses the 3 stock nuts on each side. Installation instructions available on line by simply clicking the INSTALLATION link on this page.
Under Strut System
Not many upgrades will force you to say, damn that's incredible or just plain wow. The M7 Under Strut System (USS) features three integrated pieces that will brace, connect, and triangulate the bottom of the chassis for greatly improved chassis stiffness.
This improved stiffness will give the MINI better turn-in capability allowing the car to rotate into the corners with ease, and also greatly reduce understeer.
The M7 Under Strut System is made of extruded and CNC machined aluminum that comes in a black anodized finish that iss durable and designed to prevent chipping and corrosion.
Stainless steel fasteners and necessary tools for nut insert installation are all included! We'd say our months of rigorous testing at local race tracks, treacherous canyon roads and sweeping on/ off-ramps, were a good investment just the same thing you'll think about the M7 USS.
Installation Notes: If you are not using a lift, please be sure that you have enough room so you can drill square (perpendicular) to the underbody. We cannot stress enough how important this is.
Drilling at an angle will cause the hole for the nut insert to be too large for proper installation. Please do NOT attempt to install your USS on a slanted driveway. Note: There may be fitment issues on some applications with the Milltek and Alta exhaust systems.
This products will fit R57-R58 & R59 but the rear cross brace will need to be modified or not installed. The front and mid sections of the kit are direct bolt-on.
Rear Chassis Brace
During hard cornering, the MINI is prone to chassis flex that results in poor handling characteristics and the need for the driver to compensate. M7 now offers a way to fix this problem with the M7 Rear Chassis Brace (RCB), one of the additions to the M7 Suspension Solutions line. This modification is perfect for people who want ultimate chassis stiffnes but with adding an intrusive rool bar or roll cage.
The M7 Rear Chassis Brace is a great compliment to the immensely popular M7 Under Strut System (USS). Using the two together will give you the best in chassis stiffening without going the route of a roll cage.
Besides the benefit of more predictable handling, the Rear Chassis Brace allows for comfortable use of the rear seats. Handling without sacrifice of passenger comfort. The M7 Rear Chassis Brace is the perfect addition to a serious street or track MINI.
Please Note: The RCB only fits the R56 Hatchback models.
