Overheating your brakes can end an entire weekend at the track and is the most common reason for premature brake failure and wear.
HARD Motorsport’s all aluminum E36 M3 O.E.M. size Brake Cooling Backing Plate design features their large ‘Pocket’ to allow for more air flow directly into the rotor hat, where you need it.
Forcing cool air through your rotors is the ideal way to eliminate both heat build-up, which will lead to premature wear on your braking system, and the heat that can boil your brake fluid, making it nearly worthless.
The all aluminum construction provides minimal unsprung weight, at just 10 ounces, and the benefits of optimal heat exchange over the entire surface area of their Backing Plate.
Features:
Note: The original dust shields will need to be cut off or removed prior to installation. You will need the original stock mounting points in tact to utilize your stock hardware. Disassembly of your hubs is not required for installation. Not compatible with non-M rotors.
