Every engine swap has a few minor clearance issues that need to be resolved to allow a slick & clean engine installation. The Mopar E-Body has the battery in the same location that is often needed for the Gen III Hemi air inlet & air filter on some Gen III Hemi engines (this varies based on the factory intake manifold on the engine). This battery tray moves the battery from the left side of the vehicle, over to the right side. The tray is formed from steel for a factory look, and black powder coated finish for corrosion protection.
