The Arai GP-J3 is another representation of Arai’s pursuit of comfort and function in one attractive package whose simplicity and smooth lines belie the complex energy-management system within. The updated and improved shell shape and construction incorporate extended facial coverage with sculpted “FCS” cheek pads for improved support and comfort. The same care and attention that Arai puts into every helmet can be found in the details of the GP-J3 open-face series. The interior fit is typical Arai, benefiting from over 50 years of research and refinement, and resulting in a helmet that more closely matches the shape of the human head. Adjustable Peak GP-J3 has an adjustable peak that combines the adjustability of the previous Jet/f with the classic rounded styling of a more traditional vintage design. The peak also includes easily-removable/replaceable light tint anti-glare lens.

Cheek Pads and the Comfort Head Liner Removable and replaceable with optional pads of various thicknesses for a more custom fit, as well as allowing for more frequent, and more thorough, cleaning when needed.

A favorite for sedan and stock car racers, the GP-5W offers a wider eyeport and lightweight construction making for a durable and versatile helmet. Head and Neck Restraint devices with the standard 6mm helmet bolt can be easily added with the new M6 washer nut installed at the factory. The helmet is SA2015 certified. This is the white XL version. ScLc Construction It’s constructed of Arai’s exclusive, very-lightweight ScLc shell technology (Super Complex Laminate Construction), so it maintains a low overall weight to offset the added weight of the larger shield. Shell Shape It has a smaller, more “natural” head shape, and a lower center of gravity to balance and stabilize the helmet so it feels even lighter, thereby helping to reduce fatigue. Interior Fit The interior fit is typical Arai, benefitting from over 50 years of research and refinement, and resulting in a helmet that, as mentioned previously, more closely matches the shape of the human head. The first is snug, allowing for the smallest possible helmet to be worn while still being comfortable. AEM’s Infinity Series ECU stand alone management systems deliver a high end Motorsports output at a price that makes it attainable for a sportsman racer. The Infinity ECU delivers state-of-the-art programmable EFI control capabilities with airflow-based tuning models.
