AEM’s Universal Core & Accessory Wiring Harnesses simplify the installation of an Infinity ECU on any 4-, 6- or 8-cylinder application with an Infinity-supported crank/cam timing configuration.

The Universal Core Harness combines injector sub harnesses with ignition timing sub harnesses for every type of MAG and Hall Effect timing configuration, allowing racers to get an Infinity-tuned racecar wired quickly and accurately. Idle motor sub harnesses for Ford and GM are available for easy integration onto Ford & Chevy Small Blocks and Big Blocks. An ignition adapter sub harness for AEM’s Single Channel Coil Driver is available for triggering an inductive coil directly or a single-channel capacitive discharge ignition (CDI). Ignition sub harnesses for the AEM EPM and other popular ignition systems are also available.

COMPREHENSIVE CORE HARNESS DESIGN

AEM’s Universal Core V8 Wiring engine harness (PN 30-3809) is terminated with Infinity Series 5 ECU connectors, power/ground leads and an OEM power distribution block with 5 relays and 7 fuses. Special care was taken to build redundancy into the power distribution system to increase overall reliability.

High-Performance DTM-Style connectors terminate the leads for dual UEGO wideband air/fuel ratio sensors, wheel speed sensors, AEMnet (AEM’s CAN bus), dual 8-pin auxiliary ports, cam & crank, idle, injectors and coils sub harnesses. High-Performance DTM-Style connectors and pins are included for the auxiliary ports. Flying leads are included for permanent and switched power, manifold pressure (MAP), oil pressure, fuel pressure, air temperature, coolant temperature, and throttle position.

The wiring is covered in an automotive-grade loom for enhanced longevity and the power/ground leads are heavy-duty serrated versions to ensure the best connection. A firewall grommet is included for a clean pass-through. All wires and connectors are labeled for ease of installation.

INJECTOR SUB HARNESSES

Injector adapter harnesses are available for Ford and GM engine injector locations and cylinder numbering. They connect to the Universal V8 Core Harness via a High-Performance DTM-Style connector and include the popular/common Bosch EV1-style connectors for the fuel injectors. These harnesses include labels for ease of installation and are covered in an automotive-grade loom for longevity.

CAM/CRANK TIMING SIGNAL HARNESSES

AEM has made the task of configuring and wiring cam/crank signals as easy as the snap of a High Performance DTM-Style connection. Timing sub harnesses are available for:

High quality shielded wiring is used to virtually eliminate EMI and the flying leads for crank position, cam position, power, and grounds are labeled for ease of installation.

INFINITY PLUG & PLAY ENGINE HARNESS FOR GM/CHEVY LS ENGINES

If you have a Chevy LS crate motor or modified LS racing engine, AEM’s LS Plug & Play engine wiring harness is the perfect solution for easily and affordably installing the Infinity Programmable ECU onto it. This harness plugs into the factory sub harnesses and uses the factory sensors. IP67-rated ECU connectors are designed to mate with AEM’s Infinity Series 7 ECU and connections for dual wideband O2 sensors, vehicle speed (VSS), Knock, AEMnet and CAN bus are integrated into the harness. The 58x harness includes a connection for drive-by-wire (DBW).

A Complete Standalone EFI System for Chevy LS Engines

The Infinity ECU combines with a GM LS Plug & Play engine harness to retain full control of the engine’s functions. It is ideal for crate motor solutions that are using aftermarket dashboards as they can be configured using the on-board CAN bus wiring (will not communicate with the factory dashboard on GM LS equipped vehicles).

The Infinity ECU is able to control the variable valve camshaft and drive-by-wire on equipped LS engines, providing tuners with the ability to take full advantage of the engine’s low-end power potential, and eliminate the need to convert to cable throttle. Users can create two drive-by-wire profiles for rain maps, pit lane limits and more.

AEM’s LS PNP Engine Harness also eliminates the restrictive factory mass airflow sensor (MAF) and airbox, making it an ideal harness solution for forced induction applications. Other key racing features include multiple boost control strategies, programmable nitrous control, on-the-fly map switching, programmable four-wheel speed traction control, launch control, flex fuel and multi fuel capability. It utilizes airflow (VE) based tuning, has up to 64GB data logging capacity and can transfer data at up to 480Mb/second. Its enclosure is sealed and suitable for engine bay mounting.

AEM’s 400LPH AN Fittings High Flow, High-Pressure Fuel Pump is designed for high performance naturally aspirated and forced induction EFI vehicles. It can be installed externally or in-tank using optional hardware that is sold separately (see Images tab and part numbers, below). It utilizes the industry standard “044 Style” envelope and -10 AN female inlet and -6 AN female outlet connections for easy installation on new applications and for quick replacement of existing competitor fuel pumps. The 50-1005 fuel pump delivers incredible performance and value. AEM’s 400LPH High Flow, High-Pressure Fuel Pump is capable of supporting over 1,200 HP normally aspirated and a whopping 860 HP at 30 psi boost!* It flows 400LPH (100 gph) at 40 PSI, 340LPH (90 gph) at 73 PSI, and 270LPH (71 gph) at 120 PSI. Complete flow curves from 35 to 120 PSI and current draw vs. fuel pressure charts are available in the Specs tab. The AEM 400LPH AN Fittings High Flow Fuel Pump is rated for use with ethanol-blended fuels, (E85/E90) and all types of gasoline, but pump life will be diminished if used with 100% ethanol fuels. The inlet thread is a -10 AN female ORB (O-ring port fitting) and the discharge is a female -6 AN ORB (O-ring port fitting). A male -6 to -8 AN discharge fitting with integral high-pressure check valve, terminal nuts, terminal boots and installation instructions are included. Optional accessories that are sold separately include a -10 ORB fitting inlet pre-filter (for use with in-tank installations), and both -8 and -6 discharge adapters without integral check valves. Accessory fittings are hard anodized. Features:

The PUD-8 Eight Channel Power Distribution Unit receives its commands directly from a Vehicle Control Unit like the AEM EV VCU200, VCU300, or other VCUs with CAN transmission capability, eliminating the need to create complicated logic programming in the PDU. This makes them straightforward to configure, easy to troubleshoot and negates the need to have dedicated spares for motorsports electric vehicles, due to their ability to be used interchangeably. The PDU-8 Eight Channel Power Distribution Unit features:

Tru-Time cam gears enable users to match cam timing with their vehicle’s tuning state by advancing or retarding the cam profile(s) in one-degree increments via true laser-etched markings. Precision-cut gear teeth ensure no premature wearing of the cam gear’s belt surface and AEM’s anodizing on the adjustable cam gear’s teeth is lab-test proven as the hardest anodizing process on the market. AEM Tru-Time Adjustable Adjustable Cam Gears are available in a multi-spoke, five-bolt designs.
