RSL29 Compound Overview

The Pagid RSL29 compound, formerly known as Pagid RS29, is a long time favorite and reliable pad. It features very good modulation and release characteristics through a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers. The friction level of the material maintains constant at a low-medium level. Combined with easy bedding-in behavior, this compound is very popular in club racing, for track days, GT cars, touring cars and prototype endurance racing. Due to the excellent modulation characteristics, the RSL29 pads is also often used in sprint races.

The Planted Side Mount is an “L” shaped bracket sold in pairs (left and right) used to install side mount seats. Side mount seats have the mounting holes on the side of the seat rather then the bottom so a Side Mount or similar product is required for installation. The Planted Aluminum Offset Universal Side Mount is made from 1/4th inch thick aluminum which complies with FIA’s required thickness, weighs approximately 3.5 lbs, and is powder coated grey. These will fit Side Mount Seats offered by most seat manufacturers and have been tested on Bride, Corbeau, Cobra, Momo, NRG, OMP, Ractech, Recaro, Sabelt, Sparco, Status Racing & Takata. The wider slots allow the Side Mounts to be compatible with most other seat manufacturers as well but we have not test fitted them all. The Side Mounts are made to bolt directly to sliders but have multiple slots for adjustability when direct mounting (eliminating sliders). 90 DEGREE VS OFFSET SIDE MOUNTS

• Planted offers two types of Side Mounts; 90 Degree and Offset. Both types are offered in Aluminum or Steel.
• 90 Degree Side Mounts are the most common type and should be used when the width of the sliders is narrower then the width of the seat so the sliders sit under the seat.
• Offset Side Mounts are less common and should be used when the width of the sliders is equal to or wider then the width of the seat.
• Either 90 Degree or Offset Side Mounts can be used when direct mounting without sliders. We recommend the 90 Degree Side Mounts though because the overal assembly will be narrower allowing more side to side adjustability.
