RTB1006B : Racetech 6mm Aluminium bracket for back-mounting seats. To meet FIA 8862-2009, this bracket must be used with Racetech 129 series seats to attach the seat to the roll-cage at shoulder height. The standard size (RTB1006B) is compatible with:

Racetech seats are made in New Zealand and have quickly become very popular in the US for their high quality construction and driver comfort. With an integral head restraint, the 4009HR series of seats is a “go-to” safety essential for many forms of rally and road racing. This range of seats is suitable for competition where 270 degrees of head support is required. Common applications range from club level racing to national competition, showing that this is not only a versatile seat, but also a seat for serious racers. This tall version is 5 cm taller and not FIA homologated.

The seats are all HANS compatible and intended for use with a 5/6-point belt. The shell finish is gloss black and the seat cover is made of black fire-retardant fabric with grey suede wear patches.

If you are drag racing, new rules may require the use of a back mount with any fiberglass composite seat. Please check with your governing body.
