The new rigid B5 black/GRP seat weighs a little over 9 lbs and was originally designed to fit the very narrow Lotus Elise / Exige. The seat angle is a regular road car angle, though each bracket option allows for a significant amount of tilt. The seat material is GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), which is extremely sturdy yet economical, and the surface finish is black gelcoat. Due to the small, narrow size of the B5, it can work well in many other vehicles, in particular narrow models like Miatas. Aside from narrow cars, the seat also works well in most cars, and has been successfully installed in Porsches, Audis, Ferraris, kit cars and many more. The B5 sits the driver very low in the car which reduces the likelihood of hitting the crash helmet on the roll cage and can be a game changer for tall drivers in low cars. You can sit within 3/4″ of the floor pan. Although the seat is small it can fit a surprisingly large range of driver sizes. Since the seat is not a full bucket seat, it is compatible with 3-point or 5/6-point belts, making it an extremely versatile seat and an excellent choice for either street or track cars. The side profile was developed from years of experience in manufacturing kart racing seats, and provides excellent support while leaving the shoulders free to help steer the car unhindered. he seat is compatible with a Hans or neck restraint device. We generally recommend the seat pads option, particularly for cars driven on the road with 3-point belts. The pads are made of Dinamica, which is a synthetic suede-like material, just like Alcantara. The pads aid in keeping the driver planted on what can be a somewhat slippery surface and will also help protect the seat. The Cartek Motorsport GT Battery Isolator is a very small and highly reliable alternative to the traditional mechanical master-switch. The unit has been designed to overcome all of the problems and restrictions associated with mechanical and electro/mechanical safety cut-outs. When fitted to a race car this solid state battery isolator simultaneously isolates the battery and kills the engine immediately when triggered in accordance with FIA safety regulations.

This system has been designed to simplify installation thereby saving time and reducing build costs.

How it Works
The Cartek Battery Isolator GT provides two functions. The first is to disconnect the Battery from all Electrical Circuits. The second is to kill the engine.

Battery Isolation
Battery Isolators work by being fitted in between the negative side of the battery and the chassis. When the external kill button has been activated or the internal button been switched to the off state, then the Battery Isolator will disconnect the negative side of the battery from the Chassis. This means that no power can get to any of the electrical circuits as there is a break in the circuit.

Engine Kill
This unit does not have a power input or power output. Instead it sends a signal (12v 0.2a when on, switched to chassis/earth when off) which is wired up to either a Power Distribution Module or Motorsport ECU that has an ignition switch signal input. The ECU or Power Distribution Module will then shut down when it see’s this signal – which then kills the engine.

Built in Protection
The Cartek Battery Isolator XR comes with built in alternator run down protection meaning no extra wiring and no extra components.

How Is It Controlled?
The two electronic isolation circuits are controlled by microprocessors and incorporate various safety systems including over-temperature and over-current monitoring. These microprocessors also monitor the kill switches/buttons for instant activation without false triggering.

The MOMO Mod 11 is a classic three-spoke racing steering wheel suitable for most racers. The MOMO MOD 11 is not pre-drilled; it is made to fit three-hole quick-release adaptors with a maximum diameter of 60mm. It is covered in black suede finish and features include a round section rim, center punched on the steering wheel’s rear. The wheel has zero dish. This is the 260mm diameter version.

The MOMO MOD. 78 is a classic racing steering wheel popular with many drivers for its comfort and looks. The three-spoke pattern, circular form and thumb grips are what makes many racers feel that this is a natural fit to their car. Using the pre-drilled standard 6-bolt pattern makes for an easy install. A MOMO horn button is included. This 320mm diameter version in leather which has a 40mm dish. Spokes and leather are black.
