AEM’s 6 Channel CAN Sensor Module provides incredible flexibility at an affordable price. It can convert two analog temp channels, two analog pressure channels, a tach input and fuel level input to AEMnet CAN bus, making it an easy way to add temperature, pressure, fuel level, and tachometer signals onto a CD Carbon Digital Dash Display in carbureted vehicles. Furthermore, users can add additional channels to a non-AEM ECU, dash, or logger that may be missing from an OBDII CAN stream on 08+ vehicles. The 6 Channel CAN Sensor Module by AEM supports the Bosch 20b CAN bus standard, which makes it compatible with many non-AEM devices. This module is the perfect add-on for CD Carbon Dash owners who are sending channels to a CD Carbon Dash from an OBDII CAN stock ECU and want to add additional channels that are not available through the factory CAN stream. Overview

CD-7 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Dash Displays have a compact enclosure that makes them perfect for flush mount installation or in-dash installations with tight tolerances. They include all of the robust features found in the original CD-7 Carbon Dash, but do not have buttons or an LED shade hood built into the enclosure.

CD-7 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Dash Displays feature full-color, daylight readable screens surrounded by a slim, tough, lightweight flow-molded carbon fiber composite housing. Seven ultra-bright LEDs span the top of the display housings for RPM and shift light indication. Users can program them to ascend in specific increments based on RPM range and flash when it is time to shift. Brightness is user programmable on the fixed color LEDs. A remote button kit (PN 30-3610, sold separately) easily wires into the CD Carbon wiring harness and allows users to change pages and clear memory. Two additional programmable LEDs are included in the enclosure and are fully programmable.

View and log data from over 250 CAN devices!

The CD-7 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Dash Display receives channels from two independent CAN bus inputs and it does not require special modules to read AEM and/or 3rd-party CAN signals. We have validated it to communicate with over 250 non-AEM devices, 2008-up stock ECUs via the OBDII port (see Supported Apps Tab), and the CD-7 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Dash Display can be added to any vehicle with the addition of our 22 Channel CAN Sensor Module. The CD-7 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Dash Display is ECU CAN ready and does not require external modules for CAN to CAN communication, just load your configuration and go! All channels can be named in virtually any language so that the information displayed makes sense to the user when displayed, whether on the main screens or warning alerts.

Third-party systems will require download of 3rd party DBC CAN bus protocol files for proper operation if they are not included in our setup software. We currently have over 250 validated 3rd party applications, and include a CD Dash Power Cable to simplify the installation of 3rd party devices. AEM offers two Fuel Ethanol Content (Flex Fuel) Sensor Kits, one with 3/8” barbed adapter fittings and one with -6AN to 3/8” adapter fittings (PN 30-2200 barbed fittings, PN 30-2201 -6AN fittings). AEM’s Flex Fuel Ethanol Content Sensor Kits measure a vehicle’s fuel ethanol content percentage and fuel temperature, which allows users with programmable engine management systems (capable of tuning for flex fuel) the ability to optimize an engine’s tuning calibration for fuel ethanol content. While many gas stations label flex fuel as E85 (85% Ethanol and 15% Gasoline), actual ethanol content can be much different. Using AEM’s Flex Fuel Ethanol Content Sensor delivers the ability to determine the amount of fuel blend being used at any given time. This sensor is ideal for use with AEM’s Infinity standalone programmable ECU & Series 2 EMS on flex-fuel equipped vehicles, or it can be connected to a dash display or data logger. INFINITY PLUG & PLAY ENGINE HARNESS FOR GM/CHEVY 58x LS ENGINES

The Chevy 58x LS Plug & Play engine harness (PN 30-3801) pairs with the Infinity 508 (PN 30-7108). AEM’s Plug & Play engine harness for GM 58x LS engines includes a Wideband O2 connector for use with a Bosch 4.2 LSU UEGO air/fuel ratio sensor (PN 30-2001) and a Wideband Extension Cable (PN 30-3600 x 1) is highly recommended to ensure enough length to properly mount the wideband sensor. This harness uses the factory sensors and coil sub harnesses to make integration onto the engine simple and straightforward. IP67-rated ECU connectors are designed to pair with AEM’s Infinity 508 ECU, and the 58x harness includes integrated connections for a wideband O2 sensor, Knock, Drive-By-Wire and pedal, injectors and more.

A Complete Standalone EFI System for Chevy 58x LS Engines

The Infinity 508 ECU combines with a GM 58x LS Plug & Play engine harness to retain full control of the engine’s functions. It is ideal for crate motor solutions that are using aftermarket dashboards as they can be configured using the on-board CANbus (will not communicate with the factory dashboard on GM LS equipped vehicles).

The Infinity ECU is able to control the variable valve camshaft and drive-by-wire on equipped LS engines, providing tuners with the ability to take full advantage of the engine’s low-end power potential, and eliminate the need to convert to cable throttle. Users can create two drive-by-wire profiles for rain maps, pit lane limits and more.

AEM’s LS PNP Engine Harness also eliminates the restrictive factory mass airflow sensor (MAF) and airbox, making it an ideal harness solution for forced induction applications. Other key racing features include multiple boost control strategies, programmable nitrous control, on-the-fly map switching, programmable two-wheel speed traction control, launch control, flex fuel and multi-fuel capability. It utilizes airflow (VE) based tuning, has up to 64GB data logging capacity and can transfer data at up to 480Mb/second. Its enclosure is sealed and suitable for engine bay mounting.
