CSF manufactures the most advanced and efficient radiator cores in the industry by using innovative tube and fin technologies with industry leading testing methods to maximize airflow and heat dissipation. These techniques allow CSF to stay ahead of the pack when it comes to radiator technology!

“B-Tube” technology – Unlike a regular oval shape “O” type radiator tube, CSF uses a specially engineered tube in a shape of a “B”. These “B-tubes” are carefully formed and then brazed over the seam to seal. CSF is able to use thinner and lighter aluminum material (better cooling efficiency) because this design is actually stronger than normal “O” shape tubes that are welded.

The design (inlet in the middle of tube that is seam brazed) increases the heat transfer surface area of the tubes by approximately 15% over regular tubes. You get the efficiency of 2 smaller tubes vs. 1 large tube within the same space criteria. With “B-tubes” you are able to get “dual liquid laminar flow.”

High Efficiency Multi Louvered Fin – CSF uses ultra efficient multi louvered fins that are carefully and precisely aligned to maximize airflow through each radiator core. Fin specifications are carefully measured and calculated for each application, and tested for maximum heat rejection efficiency in our wind-tunnel lab.

Each CSF high quality radiator is completed with an industry leading 1 hour, hand polished “Show-Stopper™ mirror finish.” Our hand polishing tools and techniques in our new polishing center located at the end of the production line ensures that every CSF cooling system looks just as good as it performs.

The Cartek Motorsport GT Battery Isolator is a very small and highly reliable alternative to the traditional mechanical master-switch. The unit has been designed to overcome all of the problems and restrictions associated with mechanical and electro/mechanical safety cut-outs. When fitted to a race car this solid state battery isolator simultaneously isolates the battery and kills the engine immediately when triggered in accordance with FIA safety regulations. This system has been designed to simplify installation thereby saving time and reducing build costs. Features

  • Fully electronic with no moving parts
  • Totally sealed against water and dirt
  • Completely resistant to shock and vibration
  • 0.5 second delay between transmitting the engine kill signal and disconnecting the battery allowing ECUs time to perform a shutdown sequence before electrical power is lost.
  • Fully integrated with built in alternator run-down circuitry – No extra components required
  • Driver operation by a single internal ON-OFF button/switch
  • External operation by single or multiple ‘strike’ button(s)
  • Buttons / switches connected to Isolator using light weight wiring
  • Mounts close to battery for reduced cabling
  • Very small and weighs just 70g
  • Designed and manufactured in UK using high quality components

How it WorksThe Cartek Battery Isolator GT provides two functions. The first is to disconnect the Battery from all Electrical Circuits. The second is to kill the engine. Battery IsolationBattery Isolators work by being fitted in between the negative side of the battery and the chassis. When the external kill button has been activated or the internal button been switched to the off state, then the Battery Isolator will disconnect the negative side of the battery from the Chassis. This means that no power can get to any of the electrical circuits as there is a break in the circuit. Engine KillThis unit does not have a power input or power output. The Cartek Motorsport GT Battery Isolator is a very small and highly reliable alternative to the traditional mechanical master-switch. The unit has been designed to overcome all of the problems and restrictions associated with mechanical and electro/mechanical safety cut-outs. When fitted to a race car this solid state battery isolator simultaneously isolates the battery and kills the engine immediately when triggered in accordance with FIA safety regulations. This system has been designed to simplify installation thereby saving time and reducing build costs. Features

How it WorksThe Cartek Battery Isolator GT provides two functions. The first is to disconnect the Battery from all Electrical Circuits. The second is to kill the engine. Battery IsolationBattery Isolators work by being fitted in between the negative side of the battery and the chassis. When the external kill button has been activated or the internal button been switched to the off state, then the Battery Isolator will disconnect the negative side of the battery from the Chassis. This means that no power can get to any of the electrical circuits as there is a break in the circuit. Engine KillThis unit does not have a power input or power output. Instead it sends a signal (12v 0.2a when on, switched to chassis/earth when off) which is wired up to either a Power Distribution Module or Motorsport ECU that has an ignition switch signal input. The ECU or Power Distribution Module will then shut down when it see’s this signal – which then kills the engine. The Wireless Control System from Cartek is the quickest and easiest way to install pushbutton controls to a detachable racing steering wheel. This innovative solution means users no longer spend time wiring in their own switches on to a custom fabricated panel, and do not have to contend with ‘curly’ cords or expensive steering wheel connectors that can damage very easily.

The complete system includes a universal steering wheel panel which incorporates 8 tactile switches and infrared transmitter module. Also included is an infrared receiver, a relay control module which controls the functionality of each switch on the steering wheel, and 2 Sticker sheets allowing users to fully customize the buttons on the steering wheel.

The Relay Control module provides a choice of push button functionality including momentary, latching and flashing modes for uses such as: PTT Radio, pit lane limiter, dash menus, lights, indicators, etc..

How it works
Cartek uses Infrared to communicate between the Steering Wheel and the Relay Control Module. By using this technology, the wireless communication is completely protected from outside signals such as radio waves and EMF unlike other systems on the market. The system also allows the wireless link to be full 360 degrees.

The infrared Transmitter module is mounted on the rear of the Steering Wheel Panel and is battery powered. The Transmitter only consumes electrical power when a pushbutton is pressed and therefore does not need to be turned off when not in use. When a button is pressed an LED on the Transmitter will show the status of the internal battery. If the LED shows Green then the battery is in good condition, if the LED shows Red then the battery needs to be replaced. Typically, the battery should last 3 years depending on usage.

The Relay Control Module allows users to configure how the buttons operate on the steering wheel. Each button can be individually configured to perform any 1 of 5 different functions:

  • Mode 1: Momentary action
  • Mode 2: Latching (without memory)
  • Mode 3: Latching (with memory)
  • Mode 4: Flashing (slow speed, minimum 5 seconds)
  • Mode 5: Flashing (fast speed, minimum 3 flashes)
  • Mode 6: Flashing (slow speed, latching)

The Relay Control Module incorporates a status LED for each channel. Each relay channel can be wired to output 12v power/signal or 0v power/signal through its rear connectors (Relays rated at 10 A).

The Wireless Control System can be mounted to most racing and aftermarket steering wheels. It now comes a multi colored vinyl pack and UV Fluorescent vinyl pack (glow in dark under UV light) allowing full customization of the steering wheel.

Paddle-shift kit
Due to the fast response time of the Cartek Wireless Control system we have been able to produce a version for race cars with Sequential or DSG Gearboxes. Two of the eight channels have been reserved for the paddle-shift, whilst the other six are completely configurable. The paddles are manufactured out of Carbon Fibre, making it an extremely light weight solution.

How it WorksThe Cartek Battery Isolator GT provides two functions. The first is to disconnect the Battery from all Electrical Circuits. The second is to kill the engine. Battery IsolationBattery Isolators work by being fitted in between the negative side of the battery and the chassis. When the external kill button has been activated or the internal button been switched to the off state, then the Battery Isolator will disconnect the negative side of the battery from the Chassis. This means that no power can get to any of the electrical circuits as there is a break in the circuit. Engine KillThe Cartek Battery Isolator GT kills the engine by taking in a fixed 12v input and sending a 12v output that would power your Ignition or ECU. When the negative side of the battery has been disconnected it will also cut the 12v output powering your Ignition or ECU. This will kill the engine. Built in ProtectionThe Cartek Battery Isolator GT comes with built in alternator run down protection meaning no extra wiring and no extra components. How Is It Controlled?The two electronic isolation circuits are controlled by microprocessors and incorporate various safety systems including over-temperature and over-current monitoring. These microprocessors also monitor the kill switches/buttons for instant activation without false triggering. Kit Contents:
