AEM offers two Fuel Ethanol Content (Flex Fuel) Sensor Kits, one with 3/8” barbed adapter fittings and one with -6AN to 3/8” adapter fittings (PN 30-2200 barbed fittings, PN 30-2201 -6AN fittings). AEM’s Flex Fuel Ethanol Content Sensor Kits measure a vehicle’s fuel ethanol content percentage and fuel temperature, which allows users with programmable engine management systems (capable of tuning for flex fuel) the ability to optimize an engine’s tuning calibration for fuel ethanol content. While many gas stations label flex fuel as E85 (85% Ethanol and 15% Gasoline), actual ethanol content can be much different. Using AEM’s Flex Fuel Ethanol Content Sensor delivers the ability to determine the amount of fuel blend being used at any given time. This sensor is ideal for use with AEM’s Infinity standalone programmable ECU & Series 2 EMS on flex-fuel equipped vehicles, or it can be connected to a dash display or data logger. Comes with all necessary pins, connectors, and fittings.

The PUD-8 Eight Channel Power Distribution Unit receives its commands directly from a Vehicle Control Unit like the AEM EV VCU200, VCU300, or other VCUs with CAN transmission capability, eliminating the need to create complicated logic programming in the PDU. This makes them straightforward to configure, easy to troubleshoot and negates the need to have dedicated spares for motorsports electric vehicles, due to their ability to be used interchangeably. The PDU-8 Eight Channel Power Distribution Unit features:

Brass sensors are a more economical choice usable in many applications where extreme accuracy isn’t required and +/- 3% accuracy vs. stainless steel’s +/- 1% is appropriate. AEM’s brass sensor kits contain the sensor, connector and pins.

AEM’s remote-mount, IP67 Comms Cable for CD Carbon Digital Dashes (PN 30-3609) is the perfect upgrade for CD Carbon dash users who update their layouts or templates frequently or as a replacement cable for users with logging versions. This cable has a positive-lock connector for connecting to the communications port on CD Carbon Dashes and a threaded nut on the opposing port so that it can be mounted inside the vehicle for quick access to the dash when changing layouts or downloading data logs. Harness Adapter for AEM Infinity 708/710/712 Plug & Play Ford Coyote Jumper Harness (PN 30-3812)

A Complete Standalone ECU for the Ford 5.0L Coyote Engine

The Coyote Plug & Play adapter harness combines with Infinity ECUs to retain full control of the engine’s TI-VCT variable cam timing control and Drive-by-Wire (DBW) system. The Infinity ECU is the first standalone programmable ECU to deliver full control of all four of the Coyote’s variable valve camshafts and deliver programmable control of the Coyote’s drive-by-wire system. This capability provides tuners with the ability to take full advantage of the engine’s midrange power potential through the adjustment of all four camshafts anywhere in the RPM range, and create two drive-by-wire profiles for rain maps, pit lane limits and more. The Infinity Coyote adapter harness is compatible with factory sensors and injectors for simplified start up using the supplied base calibration on most applications (may vary based on engine set up and forced induction). AEM’s adapter harness also eliminates the restrictive factory mass airflow sensor (MAF) and airbox, making it an ideal harness solution for forced induction applications.

Ford 5.0L Coyote Plug & Play Harness with Expansion Port

AEM’s Plug & Play harness for 5.0L Coyote engines includes Wideband O2 connectors and adapters for converting to Bosch 4.2 LSU UEGO sensors, an AEMnet connector for communication with other AEMnet enabled devices and an auxiliary connector with a Deutsch DTM 12P connector for adding common aftermarket sensors including fuel pressure, air inlet temperature, MAP, oil temperature and ethanol content sensor. The expansion port also includes a sensor ground, 5v reference, 12v power from relay and high side output for activating a relay or solenoid, a low side output for boost control and analog inputs for mode switch, and no-lift shift. Harnesses for AEM 4-Channel Coil Drivers are integrated into the adapter harness, and an additional Deutsch connector is included to allow users to wire the fuel pump to the Infinity for control of the unit.

The Infinity EMS delivers high-end engine control for the racing masses at a fraction of the cost. The Infinity-708 and -710 for 5.0L Ford Coyote race engines uses airflow-based tuning models to simplify start up and speed up the tuning process by eliminating many of the lookup and trim tables (Correction Tables) necessary in previous generation ECUs.
