Harness mount reinforcement backing plate to prevent bolt ripping through floor.
SKU #: PLA-PRP
Manufacturer Part #: PRP
The Planted Reinforcement Plate is used to reinforce a bolt or eye-bolt mounting point recommended when installing a harness in a non-factory location. Reinforcing a harness mount point is essential when the location has not been engineered by the auto manufacturer. Any time you mount a harness to sheet metal, you will need to put a reinforcement plate under it to keep it from ripping out of the floor. The Planted Reinforcement Plate uses a 7/16″ – 20 nut welded to a 1/8th Inch thick piece of steel measuring 2 Inches x 3 Inches and then powder coated black.
The Planted Reinforcement Plate weighs about 1/3 lbs and is sold individually. Bolts or eye-bolts are not included.
