The Cartek Motorsport GT Battery Isolator is a very small and highly reliable alternative to the traditional mechanical master-switch. The unit has been designed to overcome all of the problems and restrictions associated with mechanical and electro/mechanical safety cut-outs. When fitted to a race car this solid state battery isolator simultaneously isolates the battery and kills the engine immediately when triggered in accordance with FIA safety regulations.

This system has been designed to simplify installation thereby saving time and reducing build costs.

How it Works
The Cartek Battery Isolator GT provides two functions. The first is to disconnect the Battery from all Electrical Circuits. The second is to kill the engine.

Battery Isolation
Battery Isolators work by being fitted in between the negative side of the battery and the chassis. When the external kill button has been activated or the internal button been switched to the off state, then the Battery Isolator will disconnect the negative side of the battery from the Chassis. This means that no power can get to any of the electrical circuits as there is a break in the circuit.

Engine Kill
The Cartek Battery Isolator GT kills the engine by taking in a fixed 12v input and sending a 12v output that would power your Ignition or ECU. When the negative side of the battery has been disconnected it will also cut the 12v output powering your Ignition or ECU. This will kill the engine.

Built in Protection
The Cartek Battery Isolator GT comes with built in alternator run down protection meaning no extra wiring and no extra components.

How Is It Controlled?
The two electronic isolation circuits are controlled by microprocessors and incorporate various safety systems including over-temperature and over-current monitoring. These microprocessors also monitor the kill switches/buttons for instant activation without false triggering.

DeatschWerks DW440 brushless in-tank electric fuel pumps have a total height of only 4 in., making them easy to retrofit into any OE pump module. Brushless technology reduces friction and heat, increases efficiency, vastly improves pump lifespan in ethanol and methanol fuels—and allows higher voltage inputs for increased flow! These pumps move 440 lph of fuel at 40 psi. Each fuel pump includes a controller, which accepts an 8-22 V DC input and creates a digital signal to allow precise speed and torque control. The controllers are available in three configurations: single speed, dual speed, and PWM-controlled. Controller are designed to be used with voltage boosters, and the pump kits also include bulkhead wiring.

Overview

CD-5 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Dash Displays have a compact enclosure that makes them perfect for flush mount installation or in-dash installations with tight tolerances. They include all of the robust features found in the original CD-5 Carbon Dash, but do not have buttons or an LED shade hood built into the enclosure. CD-5 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Dash Displays feature full-color, daylight readable screens surrounded by a slim, tough, lightweight flow-molded carbon fiber composite housing. Seven ultra-bright LEDs span the top of the display housings for RPM and shift light indication. Users can program them to ascend in specific increments based on RPM range and flash when it is time to shift. Brightness is user programmable on the fixed color LEDs. A remote button kit (PN 30-3610, sold separately) easily wires into the CD Carbon wiring harness and allows users to change pages and clear memory. Two additional programmable LEDs are included in the enclosure and are fully programmable.

View and log data from over 250 CAN devices!

The CD-5 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Dash Display receives channels from two independent CAN bus inputs and it does not require special modules to read AEM and/or 3rd-party CAN signals. We have validated it to communicate with over 250 non-AEM devices, 2008-up stock ECUs via the OBDII port (see Supported Apps Tab), and the CD-5 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Dash Display can be added to any vehicle with the addition of our 22 Channel CAN Sensor Module. The CD-5 Carbon Flat Panel Digital Dash Display is ECU CAN ready and does not require external modules for CAN to CAN communication, just load your configuration and go! All channels can be named in virtually any language so that the information displayed makes sense to the user when displayed, whether on the main screens or warning alerts. Third-party systems will require download of 3rd party DBC CAN bus protocol files for proper operation if they are not included in our setup software. We currently have over 250 validated 3rd party applications, and include a CD Dash Power Cable to simplify the installation of 3rd party devices.
